November 2026 Election Information
Per House Bill (HB) 305, passed by the 86th Texas Legislature, below, you will find the dates and locations of the next West ISD Trustee Election and the requirements and deadline for filing for candidacy for School Board Trustee.
The November 2026 General Election will include the following West ISD Board of Trustee positions: Place 1 (Dr. Larry Sparks) and Place 2 (Laurie Tresl).
- First Day to File for Place on General Election: Saturday, July 18, 2026
- Last Day to File for Place on General Election: Monday, August 17, 2026
- Last Day to Register to Vote: Monday, October 5, 2026
- First Day to Early Vote by Personal Appearance: Monday, October 19, 2026
- Last Day to Apply for Ballot by Mail: Friday, October 23, 2026
- Last Day of Early Voting by Personal Appearance: Friday, October 30, 2026
- Election Day: Tuesday, November 3, 2026
