Texas School Report Card (SRC)
The School Report Card (SRC) combines accountability ratings, data from the Texas Academic Performance Reports (TAPR), and financial information to give a broad view of campus performance. Available for each campus in Texas, the SRC is intended specifically to inform parents and guardians about a school’s individual characteristics and its academic performance.

Federal School Report Card (FRC)
The Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA), as amended by the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), requires each State education agency to prepare and publish an annual report card with state-, district- and campus-level data. ESSA also requires each State education agency to report annually to the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Education. Every district that receives Title I, Part A funding is responsible for distributing the state-, district-, and campus-level report cards to each of its campuses, the parents and guardians of all enrolled students, and the general public.

Performance Reporting
Performance Reporting compiles data to develop and report meaningful accountability ratings to help Texas public schools meet the educational needs of all students. As part of administering the state’s public-school accountability system, the Texas Education Agency publishes assessment reporting and accountability data in several different formats, for different audiences, and for different purposes. This guidance and resources also help school administrators, teachers, parents, and the general public understand and benefit from the state’s accountability system.
Campus and District Improvement Plans
Campus Improvement Plans (CIP) and District Improvement Plans (DIP) are comprehensive plans that include all of the activities of a campus. The improvement plan guidance in this document is designed to help develop a targeted plan to address areas of low performance as stated in TEC §39.106 (d) and 19 TAC §97.1071.
